A big thank you to everyone that has joined our mailing list in Canada and who visited us at the Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) in Burlington (Toronto) Ontario.
The show at the Royal Botanical Garden was a great success, with over 6000 admirers visiting us during September alone. We gave talks to local schools and tourist boards, giving demonstrations and insights into the wonders Zimbabwe offers.
We had visitors from the U.S., all over Canada and Europe. A surprise visit was made by the famous conservationist/primatologist Jane Goodall, who we had the pleasure of meeting. Please view more information at The Jane Goodall Institute.
Supported by the Afro Canadian Carribean Association, we had great support from the local Afro-Carribean community, who we’d like to thank. Amongst other help, they supplied us with some fine entertainment every weekend. One of which was the great Zimbabwean dancing group ‘Kholisa’, meaning ‘Joy’ in Ndebele.
So, with sadness, it is the end of another year of our world-wide tour. We thank you for being patrons, supporters and friends and look forward to seeing your friendly faces again next year.
