Donations… Thank you!

26 February 2008

Firstly, a big big THANK YOU to everyone who donated clothes, shoes, toys, glasses and footballs to us, these arrived at the beginning of February and we’ve slowly been distributing them to artist’s families all over the country. I’ve attached some pictures of a few artists perhaps you recognise your items?!! The footballs made all the children really happy, we made sure they were given to children who play football a lot with the rest of the neighbourhood, so all the children will enjoy. Thank you so much.

Our collection is beautiful. With hardly any buyers at the present political climate here, the artists are producing exceptional quality work and it is going to be an honour to present them at our shows.

Everything as usual (in different ways) has been hard to find here in Zimbabwe, we’re struggling to find materials. Planks for our crates, packaging material, nails, all is taking a lot longer than usual, but we’re ever hopeful everything will be ready in time to be shipped mid March to arrive in time for our first show in May.
