Ancestor

This Shona sculpture in Cobalt Stone was sculpted by Edward Chiwawa and depicts an ancestor. Dimensions are 8 h x 8.5 w x 2d inches. This sculpture is small-sized and is going for $620. “The stone speaks for itself”, says Edward Chiwawa. Since the 80s, the artist participated in many international exhibitions.

In 1987 he won the first Prize for the “7th International Small Sculpture Exhibition” in Budapest. Among other exhibitions Edward Chiwawa has exhibited in London (1981), Frankfurt (1985), Sydney (1986), Melbourne(1987), Rome (1987) and Paris (1987).
