Upcoming Exhibition: ZimSculpt at Bonnet House Museum & Gardens
Dates: January 17 – April 19, 2026
Location: Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, Fort Lauderdale, Florida
This outdoor exhibition will showcase over 2,000 hand-carved stone sculptures by 150 artists from Zimbabwe. Curated by the award-winning ZimSculpt team, the collection highlights both legendary founders and rising stars of the Shona sculpture movement.
Each piece tells a story. Artists carve the sculptures from Zimbabwe’s unique serpentine and semi-precious stones. Most use only hand tools. Some larger pieces, standing up to 70 feet tall, require a blend of traditional skill and modern equipment.
Visitors can watch live sculpting every day. Two artists will carve on-site, offering a rare, up-close look at their craft. This is more than an exhibit—it’s an experience.
ZimSculpt is perfect for families, couples, art lovers, and cultural explorers. Kids can enjoy a fun scavenger hunt while adults discover museum-quality works set among tropical gardens.
All sculptures are for sale. From bold garden centerpieces to small home décor items and gifts, every purchase supports the artists directly. New pieces arrive weekly, so each visit offers something fresh.
