ZimSculpt, the premier curator and promoter of contemporary Zimbabwean stone art, is proud to announce its upcoming exhibition season. Bringing world-class African fine art to FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Bonnet House Museum & Gardens from January 19 through April 11.
Transforming 35 acres of coastal subtropical gardens with over 2,000 hand-carved contemporary Zimbabwean stone sculptures, live sculpting demonstrations, and exclusive collector acquisitions.
Curated by award-winning founders Vivienne and Joseph Croisette, the collection brings together museum-quality masterworks carved from rare, ethically sourced Zimbabwean stones—including Springstone, Opal Stone, Serpentines, Butter Jade, Verdite, and Leopard Rock.
Live Master Sculpting & Cultural Exchange
Throughout the exhibition, visitors will have the rare opportunity to witness contemporary African art in the making. Visiting master sculptors from Zimbabwe will conduct daily live carving demonstrations on the estate grounds. Using only traditional hand tools—hammers, chisels, files, and sandpaper—the artists will demonstrate the intense patience and skill required to transform raw, multi-ton boulders into fluid, emotionally resonant works of art.

Every Sculpture is for Sale: All works on display across the estate grounds—ranging from bold outdoor garden sculptures to refined indoor collector pieces—are available for purchase, with proceeds directly benefiting the artists and their rural sculpting communities in Zimbabwe.
