We are very excited to announce that we have been invited back to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden in Belmont, North Carolina. Our exhibition was such an outstanding success in 2014, we are returning for almost three months with our award-winning show from Zimbabwe. This will be our only show in the U.S. this year, afterwards we travel across the border to Alberta, Canada for our debut show at the Muttart Conservatory.
We have traveled all over Zimbabwe and hand-selected a totally NEW collection of contemporary works to display throughout the garden. We will display over 100 large outdoor sculptures and over 200 small pieces in our Sales Tent, with our usual dedicated area for First Generation artists. With over 100 artists represented, we have the largest collection of renowned and emerging sculptors in present day Zimbabwe.
This year we are travelling with a new resident artist from Zimbabwe, Aron Kapembeza. Passmore Mupindiko who toured with us last year will join us again. Both resident artists will be on site every day demonstrating and answering questions about their unique talent and representing their colleagues back home.
Joseph and his wife Vivienne will be curating the show this year, also travelling from Zimbabwe, along with their two children Emile (6) and Eliane (9 months!) – we all really look forward to meeting you.
Please feel free to contact us if you require further information about this show and anything else which may interest you. Our contact numbers are 704 620 2643 (Vivienne) or 704 593 8871 (Joseph).
