Walter Chandavengerwa was born in Guruve in 1973. He belongs to the Kore kore tribe and his totem is soko vafanaka or monkey.Walter completed 11 years of schooling and started sculpting in 1987 influenced by Christopher Kasina. Walter has exhibited in Holland, Geramany, Zimbabwe, and Spain.
