Regis attended primary and secondary school in Chitungwiza. Regis started his sculpting career in 1996 as an assistant to sculptor Godfrey Kututwa. They worked together for several years and Regis learnt different techniques and skills whilst working in stone.

He began pursuing his own dream to be a sculptor some years later using his own techniques in creating sculptures. Regis enjoys working with all types of stone such as opal and leopard stone. His subjects usually involve human figures, heads, birds and animals.

Sculpting is his life and Regis thrives on perfecting each piece he creates.
