Moven was born in Mondora and moved to Mabvuku a high density township just outside Harare in 1990.

He was inspired by the late Andrew Gato.  I was the apprentice to Martin Umali and others to begin with.

Moven sculpts abstracts, shoes, flowers and elephants which are his favourite subject.

My carving helps me support my family, inlcuding my three children.
