Joe Joseph was born in 1984 in Mudzi District.

Joe was taught the art of sculpting by his older borther Luckmore Joseph.

He has concentrated on carving faces and owls, believing it necessary for people to identify with forms they know and understand, rather than abstract representation.

Joe has yet to exhibit abroad and considers himself to be a recent newcomer in the field.
