Godfrey Kennedy

Godfrey was born in 1974 and started sculpting in 1992, when he was 18 years old, with his neighbour and friend, John Type.

Whilst he was at school he used to see Moses Masaya and Brighton Sango sculpting and was deeply inspired by both artists, each are internationally renowned for their works.

Godfrey likes to create in abstract form in different stones, such as Opal and Springstone. Most of the pieces are inspired from nature and African traditions.

Private collectors and exhibitions of Godfreys work have featured all over the world, including Europe and America.
