Conductor Kagore

Born in Matsvitsi, Guruve area, in 1954.

He is married and has three children.

He started making baskets and bamboo stools.

He followed Davison Chakawa to Tengenenge to sculpt in 1987.

He is of the Ndebele tribe and his totem is milalazi dube mbizi, or zebra. He completed eight years of schooling and started sculpting in 1987 with the influence of EdwardChiwawa. Conductor has exhibited his art in Holland, Germany, France, RSA, UK, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, and the USA and the National Art Gallery.
