Clephas Zvirevo

Born into a family of six, Clephas Zvirevo is the third-born and a talented sculptor whose journey began in his hometown of Ndanga, Masvingo, Zimbabwe. He completed both his primary and secondary education in the same region, where his artistic path was shaped by his brother, who introduced him to the art of stone carving.

Now an established fine artist, Clephas specializes in sculpting rhinos, cats, chameleons, and even old shoes—capturing the essence of life in stone. His work is deeply inspired by the response of his customers, whose appreciation fuels his passion.

In 2006, he was honored with a Certificate of Merit Award at the Chitungwiza Arts Centre, where he continues to refine his craft. His sculptures have been exhibited across the globe, including in The Netherlands, the United States, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Canada, Australia, and Germany. He has also collaborated with international art designers in workshops focused on functional art pieces, expanding his artistic vision beyond traditional sculpture.

A devoted family man, Clephas is married and has three children—two boys and one girl. Through his work, he continues to merge tradition with innovation, sharing Zimbabwean artistry with the world.
