Tonderai Mashaya is one of the numerous Mashaya brothers who are well known within the Zimbabwe Sculpture movement. He is a young artist whose style reflects the more spiritual aspects of Shona life, and whose work is more akin to the older artists than the younger, more contemporary artists. He works primarily in Springstone and his work has been widely exhibited worldwide. Tonderai is a perfectionist and the finishing on his work reflects this.
