David Bangura was born in the district of Guruve in 1955. He belongs to the Kore kore tribe and his Totem is Mhofu, or Eland. David started sculpting in 1985 and was influenced by Enziwel Kagoda. David didnt go to school or receive any formal education but yet manages to to exhibit all over the world. So far David has exhibited in Zimbabwe, Holland, RSA, Italy, USA, Belgium, and France
