Academic Qualifications

St Thomas Mavhezha (Nyazura) up to grade 7 (1968-1974)

Working Experience

1982-1985 Served as an apprentice in sculpture under a leading artist Lameck Zano

1986-1989 Worked for a leading gallery, Chapungu Sculpture Park, largely as an independent charge hand with the company assisting mainly with the marketing of pieces.

1990-1997 Operated from a Home setting

1997-1998 Operated from an industrial bay in Chitungwiza area, teaching some other people how to carve animals

1999 Invited by the National Gallery of Zimbabwe to a function which was mainly arranged for Queen Elizabeth II.  This was on account of distinguished works of art.

2001 One of my pieces was sold to Zimbabwe’s first couple.

2010 Commissioned to do a life size sheep by the founder and president of Z.A.O.G.A Church, Ezekiel Guti
