Patrick was born in Harare, Zimbabwe and finished his secondary schooling, where he was particularly interested in Sheet Metal Work, Drawing and Design.

Patrick belongs to the second generation of artists now emerging in Zimbabwe today.

Patrick is younger brother of Jim Sephani, who worked with Agnes Nyanhongo and Joseph Munemo.

He first began to sculpt in 1991 when he sculpted small off-cuts at Tapfuma Gutsas home in Tafara. His serious involvement started in 1995 when he worked with Agnes and Joseph who influenced him mostly in sculpting stone, along with his brother Jim.

Patrick has also worked with artists like Euwitt, Gedion and Wellington Nyanhonga and others.

Patrick has an ability to use the natural and spiritual elements of stone to create works of art that are incredibly expressive of mood and emotion.

Most of Patricks works are collected by Private Art and Gallery owners from Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, the U.S.A and the UK.
