celia_winter_irvingMany books have been written on particular sculptors, the art movement in general and catalogues of specific exhibitions. Celia Winter-Irving, of Australian decent dedicated her life to writing about Zimbabwean sculpture in Zimbabwe – from newspaper articles, books and in-flight entertainment magazines, she passed away in 2009.

As one of the leading promoters of Zimbabwean sculpture ZimSculpt published a coffee table book  ‘Journey From The Depths Of Zimbabwe’ in 2004, which was launched by the British Ambassador in Zimbabwe. It is a coffee table book briefly covering the contents of this website, with beautiful black & white photography throughout.  Some of the images are on this website.  Copies of our book can be ordered from our contact page.
